Parallel and contrapuntal

Parallel and contrapuntal sound Video

Feedback From Teacher

  • Superb choice of music and clip! Very strong connotations.
  • Contrapuntal also worked perfectly - the fact it gets a laugh (and in fact continues to get a reaction from the audience throughout) is an extremely good indication of success.
  • I would have liked to see the music continue o very both clips to emphasis the change in feel (and lose the titles too) but still very effective.
  • Subtitles were a happy accident but really added to the contrapuntal side- worth reflecting on this!

Reflection

  • Start watching and reading more media sources to develop on what I consume on the daily.

What will you change in your media consumption habits this year as a result of studying A Level Media?
  • Look at more media sources to study the different techniques they use as a way of revising and learning.

List three sources of media (websites/newspapers/apps/TV programmes etc.) that you will start to access this year that you haven't engaged with previously.
  • An online newspaper such as the telegram, start to read Daily Mail and I will try to watch more TVm shows.
