WWW: Very little work on MEST2 Coursework blog – you need to get your blogs organised. This is a common issue when first starting Media but we do need to sort it out this week. Remember: all work for me needs to be on your MEST2 Coursework blog and everything for Ms Fowler on your MEST1 Exam blog. In terms of the Film Language work you have posted, the film poster analysis is pretty comprehensive with some excellent aspects picked out and discussed. For the mise-en-scene analysis, you’ve picked some interesting and varied texts and it’s great to see you engaging with a film such as The Imitation Game.

EBI: You need to ensure all work is placed on the correct blog urgently – and that means also posting missing work. Your MEST1 Exam blog is for the work with Ms Fowler and I’d like you to move everything across so there is no confusion. For your MEST2 Coursework blog, you need the following to be on there: Film poster analysis x8; Mise-en-scene image and clip analysis; Lighting still image analysis and film noir research; Sound video and rationale.
